Study For A Shadow
Choreographer, Dancer
Central Saint Martins Platform Theatre, 2013
An excerpt from a 15 minute dance piece I choreographed with video designer, Annalisa Terranova. Using the KINECT sensor camera (from XBOX 360 gaming systems), and design elements from ISADORA software, we created a dance performance that enabled me to interact live with my image on screen.
Runner
Co-Director, Co-Designer
Port of Piraeus, Greece 2013
Created in collaboration with numerous designers, Runner was a site-specific, interactive performance where audiences were led one at a time on a wild obstacle course through the Port of Piraeus. From hotel rooms to bars, and abandoned warehouses to reclaimed flats, audiences traveled a highly designed path in a fictional thriller to "escape the city."
Pinocchio
Director
Bradley University, Peoria Il 2009
Pinocchio was the culmination of a year long process of devising and ensemble building with students and faculty at Bradley University. Through workshops, rehearsals and a fully realized production, we created a new twist on the classic story.
Great experiments in performance design took place as we created the symbolic structure of a broken heart as a moving set piece that could configure and reconfigure to reflect numerous locations in the story.
